The Famous hair stylist.

One of the things I wanted know was the most recent famous hairstylist. So I did some research and came across some very interesting people. Kim kimble works for my idol, Beyonce Knowles. Kim has a tremendous passion for hair. She designed beyonce hairstyles in the movie “Dream Girls”. Kim explained “she did a lot of research into the 60s and 70s hair using the age and vogue magazines and inspiration from a range of symbols ranging form Olympic rings to Egyptian styles”. A third generation hair dresser, this hair life started doing “unofficial duty at the shampoo bowl” in her mothers hair salon right here in Chicago at the age of six years old”. Although her mother still does hair in Los Angeles, her grandmother has retired after many dedicated years behind the chair. Growing up in the hair business, Kim had a great understanding of her roll as a hairstylist. She took the opportunity to study cosmetology while in high school. By the time she had her high school diploma, she would be ready to unleash her talent. She attended prestigious Dudley Cosmetology University in North Carolina. She also groomed men as well. In 1996 Kim received her first opportunity to work in films. She sighed on as “a hair consultant” who specialized in wig designs, of the movie BAPS starring Halle Berry. She didn’t just stop at beyonce she also did Taraji P. Henson hair, Garcelle Beauvais, Mary j Blige, Kerry Washington, and Vanessa Williams. These entire ladies are very pleased with Kim’s talent. Another famous hairstylist is Shereese L. Slates. Slates passion for hair and beauty dates back 23 years. Her celebrity clientele, accolades and recognition as a well-respected and talented hair stylist has earned her many prestigious honors that include “one of the most influential women in the hair and beauty industry for 2007”. Slates’ sultry hairstyle creation have been show cased on top shoulders of countless award winning music artists as far as Patti Labelle, Ciara, Ashanti, Monica and 702 .
