All about hair

Hair is a protein filament that grows through the epidermis from follicles deep within the demis. You can add extension to your real hair (hair weaving). Hair weaving is weaving or braiding human or synthetic hair into natural hair. Wikipedia states that the hair extensions are woven to cornrowed hair or to small sections of lose hair; if u do not take good care of your hair it can cause breakage and or thinning. A recent development in hair extensions is lace extensions. Lace extension is made from nylon mesh material shaped into a cap. It is than knotted by single strands of hair. Adding the hair to the cap gives the hair a more natural look. You can add extensions to your hair without putting chemicals in you r hair. Here are some examples:

  • Thick thread to attach the hair weft securely

  • A long and or curved needle

  • Hair glue. The glue can be easily washed out using shampoo and conditioner. It will not bring your real hair out.

  • ponytails or ponytails peices

They have this thing called virgin hair. It is hair that has often never been processed. Remy weft is not always virgin hair. Once the hair has been colored in any way short of removing the cuticles it is referred to as remy. The cuticle protects hair from damage and gives it that natural look. There is also none-remy hair. None-remy hair is also known as fallen hair. The roots and tips of hair are all mixed up in none-remy hair. Another type of hair is synthetic hair. Synthetic hairs made up of different types of synthetic fibers. Just like human hair synthetic hair comes in weave. It don’t last as longer as human hair cause it tends to tangle and frizz at the ends of the hair. Synthetic hair is not as expensive.
